Bihar: Floodwater enters houses, forces people to migrate in Darbhanga
India Today
People in Darbhanga have been forced to move to safer locations as floodwater entered residential areas. Locals say this has now become a yearly feature during monsoon.
Bhaskar Aawas Housing Society, located just 7 km away from Darbhanga town in Mabbi, wears a deserted look after nearly 80 families living here shifted to safer locations as floodwater from the Bagmati river entered the society's premises. The society has about 200 apartments and the ground floor has been flooded up to knee-length for the past one week. This has compelled people to leave their homes and move to safer locations.More Related News
