In a horrific incident in Bihar's Gaya, a Dalit man was forced to lick spit from the floor during a panchayat in which he was pulled up over his love affair. He was also forced to drink urine. A video of the incident that went viral on social media shows the man kneeling down and licking spit from the floor. Several people spat on the floor during the panchayat, which was then licked by the Dalit victim, as a "punishment" against his affair. After forcing him to lick spit, the Dalit man was also made to drink urine. The incident took place in Wazirganj area of Gaya in Bihar.
