Bhushan Kumar on theatres reopening: Audience support is crucial for industry

In an exclusive interaction with IndiaToday.in, Bhushan Kumar spoke about his excitement and anxiousness regarding the reopening of theatres. His upcoming big-ticket releases include Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal and Prabhas’ Adipurush, among others.

Bhushan Kumar, who is one of Bollywood’s leading producers, has big-ticket releases with actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Prabhas, John Abraham, Kartik Aaryan, coming up in the next few months. Bhushan, who has close relations with the entire movie fraternity, is excited and anxious to map the audience reaction to theatres reopening in Maharashtra from October 22.

In an exclusive interaction with IndiaToday.in, Bhushan shared his thoughts on theatres opening up once again. He says, “We are very happy that theatres are opening. There are many films that are made for the big screen, but have gone to OTT during the lockdown. And there are also films that we are making which are specifically made for OTT. But there are some films that have been made keeping theatres in mind, the big canvas and audience, so, it is a moment of joy for the industry that theatres are opening up.”
