Bhumi Pednekar shared that watching Dhurandhar made her eager to collaborate with filmmaker Aditya Dhar and actor Ranveer Singh in the future.
Actor Bhumi Pednekar recently shared that watching Dhurandhar left such a strong impression on her that she now hopes to collaborate with its director Aditya Dhar and star Ranveer Singh in the future.
The spy action thriller emerged as one of the biggest films of 2025, and its sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is already generating significant buzz ahead of its release this year.
In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Bhumi admitted that the film made her eager to work with the team behind it. When asked about the filmmaker and actor who remain on her bucket list, the actor said she has several dream collaborators but Dhar and Ranveer are now among them.
“I really want to work with Aditya Dhar because I enjoyed part one so much of Dhurandhar. I’m not an audience for like, very like masculine films. Mujhe neend aa jaati hai unme. Main connect hi nahi kar paati (I start feeling sleepy while watching them. I just can’t connect with them.) But I really enjoyed the film," she said.
"And if I think of actors, I’m a very big Ranveer Singh fan. I would love an opportunity to work with him,” she added.
During the same conversation, Bhumi also spoke about the industry’s growing obsession with opening weekend box office numbers and how it has affected smaller films in theatres.
