What makes this notable is the shorter-than-usual gap between theatrical and OTT release. While the industry norm typically sees an eight-week wait, the makers of 'Bhool Chuk Maaf' have chosen to release it online sooner, giving eager fans an early treat.

'Bhool Chuk Maaf' initially faced several hurdles, where the makers decided to skip a theatrical release amid India-Pakistan tensions. Despite this, the film was eventually released in cinemas and successfully overcame a Rs 60 crore lawsuit and associated controversy.
Produced by Maddock Films in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios, 'Bhool Chuk Maaf' was originally slated for a direct OTT release on May 16. However, with plans shifting to the big screen first, the digital premiere is now confirmed for June 6, though an official announcement from the makers is still awaited.
