Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 star Kartik Aaryan has the perfect response to being compared to Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar was the protagonist in the 2007 project, and it was a blockbuster success. With the sequel ready for release on May 20, comparisons with Akshay are bound to happen. During the trailer launch of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik spoke about the same.

Kartik Aaryan is playing the lead in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. In its first part that released in 2007, Akshay Kumar was the protagonist. During the trailer launch of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik spoke about facing comparisons with Akshay. He said, “Wo comparison main khud se toh nahi karna chah raha tha. Wo cheez toh nahi karni chahaiye but I had loved him in Bhool Bhulaiyaa. I have grown up watching him, we all have grown up watching him. Wo comparison kabhi naa hi karey toh better hain."

Kartik further added, "I love him as an actor. I think jo humne yah ape try kiya hain, wo humne tareeke se kar sakte the, of course, title hain film mein ek, character name hain ek, kuch kuch cheezein jo nostalgia create bhi karti hain, wo world ko thoda sa liya hain. Try kiya hain ki khud ki cheezein aye, character aye, wo I hope people will love it. It’s a whole new dynamic with what we have created with Bhool Bhulaiyya 2. Comparison hongi lekin wo hope ache.. matlab Bhool Bhulaiyya 2 bhi ek alag picture ke tarah yaad rahein.” (I didn’t want to bring about the comparison but I loved him in Bhool Bhulaiyaa. It’s better not to compare in the first place. We tried to do the film in our own way. There will be comparisons but hope in a good way).
