
Bengaluru man returns empty box after ordering smartphone from Amazon, arrested

A man has been arrested in Bengaluru after he stole mobile phones after placing an order for them and cheating delivery person.
Police in Bengaluru have arrested an individual who allegedly cheated e-commerce website Amazon by ordering mobile phones and then returning their empty parcels. The accused has been identified as 28-year-old Umear Mohammed from Yarab Nagar in the city.' The Banashankari Police arrested him after Tarun Verma, an authorized representative from Amazon Transportation Services Pvt Ltd filed a complaint on March 4.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
