Bengaluru: Instead of seven, only five days isolation for asymptomatic health workers

The state Covid-19 Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) has reduced the isolation period from seven to five days for the health workers.
Amid the rise in the number of Covid-19 cases in the city, wherein a large number of healthcare workers have also tested positive, the state Covid-19 Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) has reduced the isolation period from seven to five days.
This new rule has come for asymptomatic health workers below 60 years, without comorbidities and those who are fully vaccinated. As per the state protocol, it was disclosed in the TAC meeting that the Covid positive health workers will be strictly monitored for those five days.
