The Archbishop of Bengaluru, Peter Machado, on Saturday urged the government to withdraw the proposed Anti-Conversion Bill, saying it "will not bring good to anyone".
He said he has "faith in God and faith in the government". Machado spoke to reporters during the peace assembly at St. Francis Xavier’s Cathedral premises organised by the All-Karnataka United Christian Forum for Human Rights (AKUCFH).

Lalu Prasad Yadav's elder son, Tej Pratap, is speaking of wisdom and devotion again. He's no longer the Krishna bhakt that he was. He is now sporting saffron attire in Reels, and is propagating Shiva bhakti. His new Instagram handle is SantTejPratapYadav. After political and personal isolation, Teju bhaiya seems to have found solace in Rudraksha, Shiva bhajans and the Shiva Puran.
