Bengal CM Mamata's outreach to take credit of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna sparks controversy

A Trinamool minister handed out signed letters by Mamata Banerjee to farmers blaming the Central government for delaying the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi money and taking credit that the state had initiated a similar scheme one year before Centre sparked a controversy. 

A controversy erupted after a letter distributed by Mamata Banerjee's government stated that the Central government had repeatedly delayed the transfer of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi money to Bengal. The letter added that the Bengal government has asked for funds from the Centre several times.
