Less than a month after an adaptation of Emily Henry's "People We Meet on Vacation" hit Netflix, another of the celebrated romance author's upcoming cinematic projects is generating buzz. On Thursday, Deadline revealed that "Bridgerton" actress Phoebe Dynevor would play the heroine in a movie remake of "Beach Read," Henry's premier romance novel.
Sharing the news to her Instagram, Henry remained mum on who would round out the cast, but seemed to promise an impending update, captioning the post: "more soon 😏."

Dynevor, 30, will play protagonist January Andrews, a frustrated romance author who agrees to swap genres with her college rival to bust a bad case of writer's block. Her rival, Augustus Everett, a lit-fic guy, lives in a neighboring lake house, and the two embark on a series of "research" ventures that help simmer a summer romance.
