PM Modi praises Bastar's transformation from violence to development and self-confidence, highlighting the successful 'Bastar Pandum' festival.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday (February 10, 2026) highlighted the changing face of Chhattisgarh's Bastar, which was once known for Maoist violence.
He also lauded the special celebration of 'Bastar Pandum' organised between February 7, 2026 and February 9, 2026.
"During this festival, the rich culture, traditions, and tribal heritage of Bastar were showcased in a magnificent way," Mr. Modi said in a post on X.
