Bappi Lahiri's death left the entire nation saddened. The disco king of India breathed his last on the night of February 15, 2022. He was suffering from multiple health issues, which resulted in his demise. He was 69. After the news of Bappi Da's demise broke, celebrities offered condolences and they even paid their last respects. As of now, Bappi Lahiri's final journey has begun as his son Bappa has arrived in India. On the other hand, the legendary singer's daughter Rema couldn't stop crying at her father's funeral.

The late singer's daughter Rema couldn't control her emotions and cried inconsolably at her dad's last rites. Photos of Rema bursting into tears are going viral on social media. It is heartbreaking to see Rema break down at Bappi Da's funeral. She was extremely close to her dad.

Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Sona Mohapayra remembered late Bappi Lahiri. She recalled meeting him on a reality show.

"He was a showman till the end. I met Bappi Da when he came on the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa singing reality show where I was a judge and he was a guest judge. He was switched on and how! He had a sharp memory for all lyrics and shayari. He was very front foot ka khiladi. He was also very affectionate. He told me that my Bolo Na was his favourite (song)," said Sona.

And though Bappi Da is no longer among us, his legacy will continue to live on through his music.
