The Home Guard and Prison Department Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Dharamveer Prajapati, has given instructions to stop the use of plastic water bottles in the department.
The Home Guard and Prison Department Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Dharamveer Prajapati, has given instructions to stop the use of plastic water bottles in the department.
He said to make use of clay pots and kulhads as an alternative, which is more environment-friendly.
The use of plastic water bottles has been banned due to environmental and health-related reasons.
In addition to this, he stated that the use of plastic bottles can also lead to serious diseases like cancer and so its usage should be avoided.
