BAFTA pays tribute to Irrfan, Rishi Kapoor, Chadwick Boseman in In Memorium segment

BAFTA honoured late actors Irrfan, Rishi Kapoor and Chadwick Boseman in their In Memorium segment at the award ceremony last night. Sean Connery, Kirk Douglas, Ian Holm were some of the other artistes who were honoured by BAFTA.

The 74th British Academy Film Awards honoured Hindi cinema’s two iconic actors, Irrfan and Rishi Kapoor, who died last year. BAFTA also paid tribute to actor Chadwick Boseman, who died battling cancer in 2020. BAFTA was held virtually over two nights for the first time due to the ongoing pandemic. BAFTA honoured over 40 artistes from the world of entertainment in their In Memorium segment last night. The video compiled to pay tribute to the lost souls began with Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, who died on April 9.
