
Bad road leads to 10-year-boy’s death in Bengaluru

A 10-year-old boy was riding behind his father on a motorcycle in Bengaluru’s KR Puram when his father lost control of the bike due to the bad state of the road after the rains. The son fell on the road and was run over by a truck and died on the spot.
Jeevan, a 10-year-old boy, died in an accident due to the bad condition of the road in Bengaluru’s KR Puram area, on Thursday, August 11.
The boy was travelling with his father on a bike near KR Puram in Bengaluru when his father lost control of the bike due to the bad condition of the road near a pothole. Jeevan, who was sitting behind his father, slipped from the bike and fell on the road.
An Army truck, which was behind the bike, ran over Jeevan and the boy was killed on the spot.
A case has been registered at the KR Puram Traffic Police station limits against the truck owner. The driver fled the scene after the incident. The pothole in question was filled after the incident.
