A man had been given a six-year extended sentence in the UK for robbing one bank and attempted to rob two others in East Sussex. The man used written notes to ask the cashiers to hand over money.
A man entered a bank in the UK's Eastbourne and handed over a threatening note to the cashier. However, the cashier could not decipher the note due to its poor handwriting and the man had to leave empty-handed. The man, retiree Alan Slattery, 67, has been jailed for robbing one bank and attempting to rob two others in East Sussex, the Sussex Police said in a statement.
