
Attempt to woo Chirag? RJD demands converting Ram Vilas Paswan's bungalow into memorial

The RJD has demanded that the 12, Janpath bungalow of late Ram Vilas Paswan be converted into a memorial. The bungalow has now been allotted to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
In a bid to woo former Lok Janshakti Party president Chirag Paswan, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has said that the 12, Janpath bungalow, which was the residence of Chirag's late father and former Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan for 30 years, should be converted into a memorial. The RJD, which is trying to cosy up with Chirag Paswan after his uncle Pashupati Paras engineered a split in the LJP, hit out at the BJP and Janata Dal United coalition government in Bihar for "humiliating" the deceased leader.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

According to the police, 19-year-old Sachin Dharmendrabhai Chaudhary, who works as a labourer, had borrowed the money before expressing his inability to repay it immediately, police said. He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
