Attackers infiltrated into our area from Myanmar border: Manipur CM after Assam Rifles CO, family killed in ambush

After Commanding Officer of an Assam Rifles unit and his family were killed in a militant attack in the Singhat sub-division of Manipur’s Churachandpur district, CM N Biren Singh condemned the attack, saying such that such cowardly hate can't be allowed.

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh visited Shija Hospital where one of the Assam Rifles personnel, injured in the attack by armed men on the convoy of the Commanding Officer of an Assam Rifles unit and his family, was admitted.

The Commanding Officer of an Assam Rifles unit and his family were killed in a militant attack in the Singhat sub-division of Manipur’s Churachandpur district. Four soldiers also lost their lives in the ambush, while several other soldiers were injured.
