Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday directed police officials to strictly deal with criminals in the state and to show zero tolerance towards crime against women.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday issued directions to the Officers-in-Charge (OCs) of all police stations in the state to strictly deal with crimes against women and show zero tolerance against crimes and criminals. Addressing the first-ever conference with OCs of all police stations in the state on ‘Redefining Policing Standards in Assam’, Himanta Biswa Sarma directed the officials to file chargesheets of all rape, molestation, assault etc cases at the earliest, along with murder, arms, drugs smuggling cases within the period of next six months.More Related News
