When asked about the political crisis in Rajasthan, CM Ashok Gehlot said it is unfortunate that the media plays a partisan role.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, when questioned about the prevailing political crisis in Rajasthan, chose to vent out his anger at the media.
While addressing a press conference at his official residence in Jaipur, Gehlot said, "Media has become a kingmaker. It is unfortunate that the media plays a partisan role. Why is the term ' Godi media' used? It is the responsibility of the media."
"I am pro media. Even then, the media does not spare me. Whenever there has been a crisis in Rajasthan, the media plays a role. I do not hold vengeance towards the media. People understand," Rajasthan CM said.
Gehlot had said, "Earlier, there was uncertainty within the government due to which bureaucrats were scared. They used to think that if they took action, then there could be action against them."
Gehlot was addressing a press conference on Invest Rajasthan summit which will take place on October 7 and 8 in Jaipur.
Asked about the Adani group being invited for Invest Rajasthan Summit despite Congress criticising them, Gehlot stated, "If the Adani group follows the rules, they are welcome for the summit."
