A man arrested for cow slaughter has disclosed that he was transporting the beef to Delhi, police said. The accused named Israr was arrested in Greater Noida on Monday after he allegedly crashed his Toyota Innova car, which was carrying beef. The accused then fled on foot but was arrested by the cops. Sources said that the accused was going to sell the beef in the areas of Shaheen Bagh and Mustafabad of Delhi. “During the interrogation, the accused revealed that he sourced beef by slaughtering cows roaming in the ridge areas and was going to deliver it to Delhi.
