Apple's next MacBook Pro might decide the fate of mini LED

If Apple manages to gain success with its upcoming versions of the MacBook Pro, other OEMs might be pushed to use the mini LED technology set to debut on the Apple notebooks for the first time ever. An industry-wide investment is thus, on the cards.

Other tech majors will soon follow Apple to use mini LED technology in their products. That is what a noted analyst has predicted recently. The argument is that positive feedback for Apple’s upcoming MacBook Pro lineup will push others to replicate the success. Apple is highly likely to introduce its famous mini LED display on its upcoming 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models. Till now, we have seen it on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro and the debut of the technology has left many wanting it on more Apple products. The MacBook Pros are supposed to be the next in line.
