The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday questioned an officer said to be close to Maharashtra transport minister and Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab for over eight hours. The officer, identified as Deputy Regional Transport Officer (DyRTO) Bajrang Kharmate, was summoned in connection with the probe being carried out by the agency in the money laundering case registered against former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh.
