Anil Deshmukh case: Police Establishment Board report fuels CBI-Maharashtra govt tussle afresh 

The tussle between the Central Bureau of Investigation and the Maharashtra government has revived afresh over sharing of a probe report in former home minister Anil Deshmukh's case.

Tussle between the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Maharashtra government has revived afresh over sharing of probe report in former home minister Anil Deshmukh's case. The CBI told the Bombay High Court that the agency had not yet received the “Police Establishment Board (PEB) report”.

This comes just when things seemed to have settled down between the CBI and the Maharashtra government. They had agreed earlier over the sharing of certain crucial documents in Anil Deshmukh's case.
