Days ahead of her birthday, Alia jetted off to an undisclosed location with her mom, Soni Razdan, and sister, Shaheen. It has been reported that her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor will join Alia and her family to celebrate her birthday.

On her birthday, the makers of Brahmastra released the first-look of Alia Bhatt from the film. The actress essays the role of Isha in the epic period film. Brahmastra is directed by Ayan Mukerji and features Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in lead roles.

Samantha took to her Instagram stories to wish Alia a happy birthday. She shared a photo of Alia and wrote, "Happy birthday @aliaabhatt. Is there anything you cannot do? Can't wait to celebrate all your achievements. We all know you are just getting started (sic)."
