The diva ditched a quintessential red lehenga and took pheras in a pristine ivory-and-gold saree from designer Sabyasachi’s eponymous label.
Her bridal ensemble, must we add, was like a breath of fresh air after we saw a plethora of celebrity brides donning red Sabyasachi ensembles for their wedding ceremonies. Think of Katrina Kaif, Mouni Roy, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.
Alia added cutesy and personalised details to her saree, and teamed it with a lustrous handwoven tissue veil. She nailed the contemporary bridal look and was a vision to behold in her wedding finery.
