Al Madrigal Returns To 'Daily Show' To Nail U.S. Hypocrisy On Immigration

The comic said America doesn't have an immigration policy ― only "immigration reactions."
Former “Daily Show” correspondent Al Madrigal returned on Thursday night with a stinging message about immigrants in the United States.
“America doesn’t have an immigration policy,” he told Ronny Chieng, who is hosting this week. “America has immigration reactions.”
Madrigal, the show’s “senior Latino correspondent,” explained by ticking off a list of overt hypocrisies.
“We don’t know what we want from immigrants. We want to keep them away from our kids, but we also want them to raise our kids,” he pointed out. “They can’t have our health care, but we depend on them for affordable lawn care. We hate drug trafficking. But we love drugs, man.”
He did have one piece of advice given President Donald Trump’s crackdown on migrants.
Some think the star couple was granted special treatment.
