Akshay Kumar and Team Ram Setu will shoot climax in Daman, not Sri Lanka. Here's why

Akshay Kumar and Team Ram Setu were earlier planning to shoot major portions of the film in Sri Lanka. However, due to permission issues, the team has now decided to shoot the same portions in Daman.

Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha-starrer Ram Setu is the next big thing in Bollywood. The film has been in the news for various reasons - most significantly because several crew members, including Akshay Kumar, had tested positive for Covid-19 during the first leg of the shoot. The team recently wrapped up their Ooty schedule. And as per reports, they were supposed to head off to Sri Lanka to shoot major portions of the film. However, an insider from the film team has informed IndiaToday.in that the crew has now settled for Daman instead of Sri Lanka due to permission issues.
