Ajith Kumar's AK62 to be directed by Vignesh Shivan? Announcement to follow soon

Ajith Kumar is likely to collaborate with director Vignesh Shivan for his 62nd film. Nayanthara is said to have been roped in to play the female lead.

Ajith Kumar, who is fresh off from the success of Valimai, is said to have finalised his 62nd film. According to reports, the Veeram actor will join hands with director Vignesh Shivan for a film, which is tentatively titled AK62. Nayanthara has been roped in to play the female lead in the film. A big production house has been brought on board for this untitled commercial entertainer.

Ajith Kumar was last seen in director H Vinoth's Valimai, which released in theatres on February 24. The film turned out to be a superhit venture. Now, all eyes are on Ajith's upcoming films. He will once again join hands with H Vinoth for his 61st film.

After wrapping up his film, Ajith is likely to join hands with director Vignesh Shivan for his next film. Tentatively titled AK62, the full-fledged commercial entertainer will have Nayanthara playing the female lead. If reports are anything to go by, the film will go on floors later this year. A big production house will bankroll this venture. Soon, an official announcement will be out.

Ajith Kumar will begin his work on his upcoming film with director H Vinoth. After completing the film, he will join hands with Vignesh Shivan. Ajith and Nayanthara were last seen in director Siruthai Siva's Visvasam. They will team up again for Vignesh Shivan's film.

Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara are waiting for the release of Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, which is slated to release in theatres on April 28.
