Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aishwarya Lekshmi resumed the shooting of Ponniyin Selvan in Pondicherry. Director Mani Ratnam recently shared the new poster of the film.

Director Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan shooting is currently progressing at a brisk pace in Pondicherry. Reportedly, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aishwarya Lekshmi have joined the team and are shooting some important sequences in this schedule. Ponniyin Selvan is based on the Tamil literary novel of the same name written by Kalki Krishnamoorthy. The film will be made in two parts.
