Airfare, meals, domestic flight ops: Govt panel raise key issues at Parl meet

At a Parliamentary panel meet, 18 MPs raised several key issues such as airfares, meals and staggered opening of domestic flight operations that are adding to passengers' woes.

The Department related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture met on Friday to discuss issues affecting the civil aviation sector in the current scenario.

Sources said that the 18 MPs present at the meeting grilled Civil Aviation Secretary Rajiv Bansal on several issues related to passenger concerns.
