
Air Marshal inspects chopper crash site, Tamil Nadu police registers case

Air Marshal Manavendra Singh inspected the IAF chopper crash site in Coonoor, while the Tamil Nadu police registered a case in the matter on Thursday.
Air Marshal Manavendra Singh inspected the site of the chopper crash on Thursday, starting an investigation into the mishap that killed Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat and 12 others, while the police registered a case and Tamil Nadu DGP, C Sylendra Babu held a review meeting in Coonoor on the matter.
Air Marshal Singh, inspected the site of the crash near Coonoor along with officials and began a probe.

As per the Bill, those involved in unlawful conversions on the pretext of marriage will be punished with imprisonment of seven years and shall also be liable for a fine of Rs 1 lakh. Violations in respect of a minor, a person of unsound mind, a woman or a person belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe will be punished with imprisonment of seven years and a fine of Rs 5 lakh.
