
Air India to operate 3 flights to Ukraine amid fears of Russian invasion

Days after the Indian Embassy in Kyiv issued an advisory for Indian nationals, Air India has announced that it would operate three flights to Ukraine later this month.
Air India said on Friday that it will operate three flights between India and Ukraine later this month. The statement comes at a time when the US and its Nato allies have warned of the possibility of a Russian invasion of Ukraine.
According to Air India, the three flights between India and the Boryspil International Airport in Kyiv will be operated on February 22, February 24 and February 26.
For this purpose, Air India has decided to use its Boeing 787 Dreamliner. A single Boeing 787 Dreamliner can accommodate as many as 256 passengers.

Air India also said that those looking to travel to or from Ukraine can book their tickets through Air India booking offices, website, call centre or authorised travel agents.
