
AI Summit a turning point, world impressed with India's breakthroughs: PM Modi

Addressing the nation through Maan Ki Baat, PM Modi mentioned that two AI products grabbed the attention of the world with smart innovation.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that the India AI Impact Summit became a turning point in the trajectory of how the world will utilise the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the future. Highlighting the strides that India made in the field of AI, the PM further said that the world leaders were impressed with India’s achievements in AI.
“This summit proved to be a turning point in the trajectory of how the world will utilise the power of AI in the future,” PM Modi said in his monthly radio broadcast, Mann Ki Baat, appreciating the recently-organised AI summit where leaders from several countries and tech industry bigwigs came together.
Although several products at the AI Summit drew the attention of the participants, PM Modi mentioned two products that particularly impressed everyone. The first product was at Amul’s booth, which showcased how AI can be used to treat animals and help farmers keep track of their livestock throughout the day.
The second product Modi mentioned showcased how AI can be used to preserve ancient Indian texts, manuscripts, and knowledge and adapt them to the needs of the present-day generation.
At the India AI Impact Summit, world leaders were impressed by these AI breakthroughs," Modi noted.
Amid appreciation, the Prime Minister also urged the nation to stay vigilant against online financial fraud and digital arrest, and appealed to all to comply with requests from banks for doing KYC (know your customer) as it is crucial for an individual's bank account's safety.
