Ahead of their wedding, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi to invite him to their reception. The meeting drew attention after their Udaipur wedding, which took place on February 26.
Even before getting married, actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi earlier this week to personally invite him to their wedding reception. While the meeting took place days ago, photographs from the interaction surfaced only after the couple’s wedding, quickly grabbing public attention.
In the now-viral images, Rashmika is seen dressed in a yellow ethnic outfit, while Vijay opted for an understated all-white ensemble. The couple also presented the Prime Minister with a shawl, a traditional gesture of respect, as they extended the invitation for their reception scheduled to be held in Hyderabad on March 4.
Pictures from the same meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah also made their way online, adding to the buzz around the newlyweds.

Rashmika and Vijay got married on February 26 in Udaipur in a private ceremony attended only by close friends and family. The wedding was held at ITC Mementos and followed Telugu and Kodava traditions. Photographs from the ceremony were shared by the couple on social media, drawing an overwhelming response from fans and members of the film fraternity.
The ceremony featured traditional floral decor and sacred chants. Rashmika wore a rust-hued saree paired with heritage jewellery, while Vijay wore an ivory dhoti with a striking vermillion angavastram, intricately embroidered with forest and temple-inspired motifs (symbols of power, lineage, and sacred architecture).
