Agra: Russian engineer found dead in hotel

Fifty-five-year-old Russian engineer was found dead in a hotel bathroom in Agra. His body has been sent for post-mortem.

On Monday, the body of a 55-year-old Russian man was found in the bathroom of a five-star hotel in Agra. The victim has been identified as Oleg Filippov, an engineer in an aircraft maintenance company. Oleg Filippov had arrived in India on April 2 with his friend, Alexander Khramtsov. Filippov was reportedly an engineer and was in Agra for some work in Agra’s airforce campus. The incident came to light when Filippov’s friend called the hotel staff after being unable to reach him for a long time.
