
Agra: Indian Army, Air Force paratroopers celebrate 75th year of independence

Paratroopers of the Indian Army and Indian Air Force commemorated the 75th year of independence in Agra by conducting a one-of-its-kind combat free-fall event on Friday.
75 paratroopers of the 50th Independent Parachute Brigade celebrated the 75th year of independence in Agra by conducting a one-of-its-kind combat free-fall. The paratroopers of Shatrujeet Brigade of the Indian Army and Indian Air Force organised the event on Friday. Lieutenant General Yogendra Dimri, AVSM, VSM, GOC-in-C Central Command, Air Marshal RJ Duckworth. AVSM, VSM, AOC-in-C Central Air Command, and various civil dignitaries of Agra witnessed the show from the Indian Army and Air Force.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

According to the police, 19-year-old Sachin Dharmendrabhai Chaudhary, who works as a labourer, had borrowed the money before expressing his inability to repay it immediately, police said. He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
