After Jacqueline Fernandez, Delhi Police quizzes Nora Fatehi for 6 hours in Rs 200-crore scam case

Nora Fatehi appeared before the Economic Offences Wing on Thursday in connection with a Rs 200-crore scam. Her questioning comes a day after Jacqueline Fernandez was quizzed by the EOW.

Bollywood actor Nora Fatehi was questioned for over six hours by the Economic Offences Wing on Thursday in connection with an extortion case linked to conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

Last month, the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which is probing the money trail in the extortion case involving Sukesh Chandrashekhar, filed a charge sheet naming actor Jacqueline Fernandez as an accused. Later, Nora Fatehi was questioned by the ED in the same case.

However, the Delhi Police said that Nora Fatehi has no direct connection with Jacqueline with respect to the case but has been called to be questioned together with Pinky Irani.

"Since Pinky Irani is here, we want to interrogate both of them. There are certain things that need to be clarified. There's no direct connection between Nora and Jacqueline with respect to this case," said Ravindra Yadav, Ravindra Yadav, Special Commissioner of Police, EOW.
