Abhinav Shukla says he wants to portray intelligent characters, praises Jaideep Ahlawat

Abhinav Shukla recently revealed that he wanted to play more intelligent characters now. The actor praised Jaideep Ahlawat's performance in the series Paatal Lok.

Abhinav Shukla garnered a huge fan following after his stint on Bigg Boss 14. His maturity and strategy of dealing with fights and chores in the house was appreciated not only by fans but by celebrities as well. However, the actor is now looking for more intense characters to portray. He gives examples of the kind of roles he is fond of and expresses his desire to do something similar. Abhinav also praised Jaideep Ahlawat's character from Paatal Lok. Speaking about the kind of characters he wants to portray, Abhinav told an entertainment portal, “I want to play intelligent characters or special characters, just like Will Hunting from the movie Good Will Hunting. I am very fond of Danny Archer from Blood Diamond which is such a layered role and one filled with so much depth. I love the role of Hathi Ram from the series Paatal Lok played by Jaideep Ahlawat. The way he has played the character is truly commendable and there is no one else who could have done justice to the role the way he did. However, my dream is to play a character like Walter White from the series Breaking Bad played by Bryan Cranston. Getting a chance to get into the skin of such an awe-inspiring role like the one of 'Walter White', would truly be a dream come true for me.”
