Abhinav Kohli doesn't want Karan Mehra, Nisha Rawal's son to suffer due to their fight

Shweta Tiwari's estranged husband Abhinav Kohli has reacted to Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal's domestic violence row. In an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, he expressed his concern for the couple's child Kavish.

Nisha Rawal and Karan Mehra’s marriage has hit a rough patch. The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor was arrested by the Mumbai police after Nisha filed a complaint against him in Goregaon police station following a brawl. However, he was out on bail soon and accused his wife of hurting herself and blaming it on him. While many TV celebrities have reacted on the controversy, Shweta Tiwari’s estranged husband, Abhinav Kohli, spoke to IndiaToday.in about Nisha and Karan’s son and also drew example from his own experience with his son, Reyansh. Abhinav Kohli said, “I can’t say anything on what is happening between the couple. However, Nisha will have to understand that whatever difficulties they go through in their relationship, a father will never hurt his child.” Abhinav also feels that the law made for women is being misused in some way. He said, “My wife Shweta Tiwari is in South Africa for work right now. His father should be taking care of their child in this situation but a servant is doing that. In 365 days, I have met my son, Reyansh, for only 35 days. I feel disturbed that at a time when this pandemic is affecting children badly, she is not with my son but in South Africa. I have no clue who is with my child right now.” Shweta Tiwari is currently shooting for the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 in Cape Town, South Africa.
