AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal to announce third poll promise during Gujarat visit

AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal to announce third poll promise during Gujarat visit

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal, who will reach Gujarat today, will soon announce the party’s third poll promise.

Starting today, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal will be on a two-day visit to Gujarat where he will be announcing the party’s third pre-poll promise.

AAP has started a very aggressive campaign in Gujarat, with AAP’s national convener and Delhi CM, Arvind Kejriwal, visiting Gujarat almost every week. AAP is also making personal comments about the BJP. Earlier, during Kejriwal’s visit to Gujarat, two pre-poll promises were already given. The first was 300 units of free electricity and the second was jobs for all unemployed or Rs 3,000 per month. Top sources said the third guarantee will be mostly for the tribal people of the poll-bound state.

In fact, AAP has also declared candidates in ten seats in Gujarat, almost four months before the elections.

Senior AAP leader Isudan Gadhvi said, “Our party’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal will reach Jamnagar at 1 pm on Saturday. Here, he would have to meet businessmen. There are a lot of problems that businessmen of Gujarat are facing. Businessmen are not happy with the GST as well. There will be representation from MSME as well. Kejriwal will have a discussion with businessmen at length.”

Gadhvi added, “Next day. Kejriwal will be heading to Bodeli in Chhotaudepur, which is a tribal belt. Here, he will be attending huge public gatherings. At the public meeting, he will be announcing the third guarantee for the people of Gujarat. This third guarantee will be very important for a particular section. It will be a ray of hope for them. We are expecting a huge crowd at the public meeting in Bodeli.”

This will be Kejriwal’s second visit to the tribal belt. The tribal vote bank is very important for Gujarat assembly elections. Once a stronghold of Congress, they are losing their hold as the BJP is making very strong ground. Gadhvi further said, “Why does BJP have a problem with Kejriwal’s free announcement? There will be no burden to anyone. If there is a problem, BJP leaders and its ministers should stop taking free subsidies provided by the government.”
