Laal Singh Chaddha's special screening was held in Mumbai on August 5. Along with the film's actor Aamir Khan, Atul Kulkarni, Shekhar Suman, Maniesh Paul, Sharad Kelkar, Rajpal Yadav and Randeep Hooda were also seen there.

Laal Singh Chaddha is set to open in theatres on August 11. The film, starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, is directed by Advait Chandan. On Friday, August 5, a special screening was held of the film in Mumbai. Many celebrities attended the event, which included the film's actor Aamir Khan. Other celebs who were spotted there were Atul Kulkarni, Shekhar Suman, Maniesh Paul, Sharad Kelkar, Rajpal Yadav and Randeep Hooda, among others.

A week ahead of Laal Singh Chaddha's theatrical release, a special screening of the film was hosted by Sandeep Singh and Amit B Wadhwani. It was a star-studded event with many popular faces of the showbiz in attendance. Aamir Khan, who plays the titular role, arrived for the screening in brown kurta and loose pants. Actor Gurmeet Choudhary was also there in black T-shirt and grey pants.

Atul Kulkarni, who has written the screenplay of Laal Singh Chaddha, has called it a very ‘desi’ film. He said that apart from the soul of the film, everything else has been adapted, keeping the Indian sensibilities in mind. When asked if he is nervous about the box office numbers, Atul said that he is not. “I've been doing films for last 22 years now. And one has learned not to take the pressure. You have also learned to watch it from a distance as to what happens to a film. So, I've learned that during last few years that I've been working, so I don't get nervous with releases,” he said.

Along with Laal Singh Chaddha, Akshay Kumar's starrer Raksha Bandhan is also releasing in theatres. Akshay’s film is less than 2 hours this time.
