Amid the Omicron scare, Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar said that people purchasing Covid-19 self-testing kits will have to provide their Aadhaar cards to the chemists to maintain a record.

Kishori Pednekar was quoted by ANI as saying, "We have decided that everyone purchasing self-kits will have to provide their Aadhaar cards to the chemists to maintain a record. If anyone tests positive for Covid-19, the information must be conveyed to the authorities and must be updated online.(sic)"
The incident is believed to have taken place between 2 am and 3 am on Sunday. The viral footage of the incident showed the luxury car executing high-speed turns and repeated drifts at the Anil Kumble Circle in Bengaluru.
