
A wedding without a groom, but who cares? The bride partied anyway and then got trolled for it

Due to the ongoing pandemic, we have witnessed some of the most unprecedented situations. We are pretty aware of how weddings got postponed over and over again due to Covid-19 restrictions levied due to the rise in the number of cases in the last two years. Now, imagine having to wait for so long to get married and then, when the wedding is finally near, you test Covid positive! How unfortunate would that be? Something similar happened to a couple who were all set to take their wedding vows. However, this unfortunate update did not stop the wedding celebrations. They continued with the wedding festivities anyway.

They just had one option left and that was to postpone the wedding, again! However, they chose to take the fun route. Sam wasn't there at the wedding party but his cardboard cut-out saved the day. Didn’t quite get it? Well, all the events went as per planned but Sam was not part of it. Instead, his cardboard cut-out got to be part of the celebration.

While some thought they celebrated the wedding in an interesting fashion, there were a few others who actually felt bad for the groom since he couldn’t be there during the wedding festivities. “No how can you not be at your own wedding? If it was the bride it would have been canceled,” a user asked. “I would’ve totally postponed. I feel so bad that he couldn’t attend his own wedding,” another comment read.
