
949 students receive degrees at Anna University BIT campus; 26 secure university ranks

Anna University BIT campus graduates 949 students, with 26 achieving top university ranks, celebrating academic excellence and innovation.
As many as 949 students received their degrees at the graduation ceremony for the 2025 batch of the University College of Engineering, Bharathidasan Institute of Technology (BIT) campus of Anna University in Tiruchi on Sunday.
Of them, 26 students secured university ranks, bringing distinction to the institution.
The ceremony was held at the open-air auditorium of the campus. T. Senthil Kumar, Dean of the BIT campus, welcomed the gathering and presented the annual report for the academic year 2024–25.
Mr. Senthil Kumar highlighted the academic achievements of students and faculty members and noted that students of the campus had performed well academically, with 26 university rank holders bringing laurels to the institution.
Sivarajah Ramanathan, Mission Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Tamil Nadu Startup and Innovation Mission (StartupTN), Government of Tamil Nadu, delivered the graduation address.
Congratulating the graduates, he encouraged them to develop innovative thinking, an entrepreneurial mindset and a sense of social responsibility, and urged them to apply their knowledge and skills towards technological advancement and national development.
