A recent survey has shown that 72 per cent of Americans trust Ukraine President Zelenskky more than any other world leader, while only six per cent had confidence in Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to a recent Pew Research survey, seven out of ten Americans or 72 per cent "have a lot or some confidence in Zelensky, more than any other international leader”, while only six per cent had confidence in Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy draws overwhelmingly positive ratings from the American public for his handling of international affairs. Around seven-in-ten Americans (72 per cent) have a lot or some confidence in Zelenskyy, higher than any other international leader," the survey said.
On the other hand, Russian President Putin has gained the trust of just six per cent of Americans -- an all-time low in surveys going back nearly two decades -- following his decision to invade Ukraine.
"The vast majority of Americans (92 per cent) have little or no confidence in Putin’s handling of world affairs, including 77% who have none at all.
The survey also said more than half of Americans have confidence in two of Europe’s most prominent leaders, French President Emmanuel Macron (55 per cent) and new German Chancellor Olaf Scholz (53 per cent). The survey was conducted on 3,581 US adults.
