5 including juvenile held for raping 2 girls in Chennai guest house

Five people, including a juvenile, have been apprehended by police for reportedly raping two girls in a guest house in Chennai.

Police nabbed five people, including a juvenile, for allegedly raping two girls in a guest house in Elephant Gate in Chennai. The four accused have been sent to judicial custody till January 12 after being produced in a district magistrate's court. On the other hand, the juvenile has been sent to the correctional home for boys and girls at Kellys.

Sankar Nagar police have filed a complaint against the accused under Section 366 (rape) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act.
