Thiruvalluvar University Registrar emphasizes perseverance at Arul Anandar College's 47th graduation ceremony celebrating 575 new graduates.

Success demands perseverance and sustainability and hard work never fails, said Thiruvalluvar University Registrar J. Senthil Velmurugan here on Saturday.

Speaking at the 47th graduation ceremony held at Arul Anandar College, a Jesuit institution, Karumathur, he said that the new graduants should work hard and reach their goals.

Through the knowledge acquired from the college and the faculty members, the new graduants should set an example to the next generation about the rich values. He also referred to stalwart leaders from different walks of life and their struggles.

There was aplenty of opportunity open to the educated youth and that they should utilise it productively. He urged the youngsters to remember the sacrifices made by each parent, who had toiled hard to see their wards come out with flying colours, Dr. Velmurugan said.

The degrees received today were not just a recognition as graduates, but a sign of confidence and a major asset to every student, he said and appreciated the institution for its yeomen services in imparting education in the rural background.

M. Anbarasu, S.J., Principal, welcomed. The graduates took the pledge read out by Dean (Academic) S. A. Deva Prince. Rev. S. Basil Xavier, S.J, Rector, Rev. A. Antonysamy, S.J., Secretary, and A. Sundararaj, Deputy Principal, offered felicitations.
