40-year-old man molests 2 minor girls in Pune; arrested

A 40-year-old man allegedly molested minor girls in Pune. Following the gruesome act, the accused, identified as Zisan Abrar Qureshi, was arrested by the Pimpri-Chinchwad police.
The shocking crime came to light when the victim's mother approached the cops and apprised them about the molestation and also lodged an FIR in this case at Nigdi police station on Sunday.
As per reports, the accused carried out the heinous offence by touching the 5-year-old minor girl's private parts when she was playing with her brother. The incident occurred on March 4 and after perpetrating the crime, the accused allegedly threatened the girl and even asked her not to narrate the incident to anybody.
As per the FIR, the arrestee had molested another 6-year-old girl in a similar way a week before, according to the report published by the Indian Express.
Furthermore, the cops were subsequently informed about the case and they booked the accused under sections 354A and 506 of the IPC and sections of the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act.
In another incident, a 45-year-old man in Pune was arrested on charges of allegedly raping his 16-year-old daughter repeatedly since 2019.
Reportedly, the crime came to the fore when the school where the victim studied conducted an interactive session with the students. During the session, the victim narrated her harrowing ordeal to the school principal following which the authorities decided to apprise the cops about the offence, as prescribed in the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
